Invisible Shield (SPF 35) has been in the making for the last 2 years. It is the everyday sunscreen for people like you and like me who is easily annoyed by sunscreen. It really is like no other sunscreen I have ever seen or used. It is a clear watergel formula that doesn't leave a residue or that awful white cast.
Every morning I start with the Priming Moisturizer, then Invisible Shield, and then finish with the Skin Perfecting Tint and it really is the best combo.
I am also doing a Glossier Giveaway this month! If you purchase an Invisible Shield through my link and then respond to this email with screenshot of your Invisible Shield purchase for a chance to win a Phase 2 set.
Happy shopping! Happy almost Summer! Happy sunscreen!
This Baggu spring collection has me wanting all of it! The color palette is making me dream of warm days and shedding layers.

Lauren Winter out of Portland, Oregon believes in comfort, quality, responsibility, and individuality. Timeless pieces that can make you feel a certain way and that you can wear over and over. These pieces seem so perfect for summer when it is so hot and all you want is light, easy, and breezy.

Would it be going to far to declare Glossier's Cloud Paint life changing? Well, I'm going there and I really do mean it. The gel-cream formula pretty much makes it impossible to mess up. I really can't choose my favorite between the four shades. I choose which one according to mood and have also mixed two shades together.
A few Glossier favorites:
Two Fold is a new small batch womenswear brand that supports sustainably and socially conscious designs. They are all handmade in Charlotte, NC. All of the fabrics used are certified organic and sustainable. A portion of the profits that Two Fold makes will be given to an organization that help sustain third-world communities struggling to survive.
Right now, Two Fold has a kickstarter campaign happening. Head over, check it out, and help this womenswear brand get off the ground.
Madewell just launched their first intimates collection and I couldn't be happier. True to Madewell, these items are minimal and not boring. They come in three different fabrics and the prettiest color palette for all of the mixing and matching you would want to do.

We all need to do our part and everything helps. Support the ACLU. Support human rights. Support each other.
So excited about this debut collection from my friend, Sara Golden. You can feel the heart and love put into this Spring 2017 line. Inspired by the abstract patterns of English embroidery but replaced with semi-precious stones and metals. It is beautiful and delicate with just the right amount of detail. How amazing would these pieces be for brides and/ or bridesmaids as well as everyday wear? I always love pieces that can be transitional without any fuss. Super proud and excited for you Sara!!!

Be sure to check out the short film "The Heist" that was filmed for this collection.
Solange is my ultimate girl crush, a style icon, and is one damn strong independent woman! Solange was interviewed by Beyonce and it's so nice to see the strong sister and supportive bond between them.
BEYONCÉ: No, not at all. [both laugh] I remember thinking, "My little sister is going to be something super special," because you always seemed to know what you wanted. And I'm just curious, where did that come from?
SOLANGE: I have no idea, to be honest! I always knew what I wanted. We damn sure know that I wasn't always right. [both laugh] But I'd sit firm, whether I was right or wrong. I guess a part of that was being the baby of the family and being adamant that, in a house of five, my voice was being heard. Another part is that I remember being really young and having this voice inside that told me to trust my gut. And my gut has been really, really strong in my life. It's pretty vocal and it leads me. Sometimes I haven't listened, and those times didn't end up very well for me. I think all of our family—you and mom—we're all very intuitive people. A lot of that comes through our mother, her always following her gut, and I think that spoke to me really loudly at a young age and encouraged me to do the same.

A few of my favorites:
Am I the only one that is constantly in the search for a new bathing suit? It doesn't even matter if its snowing and frigid, like it is right now! Maybe it is because I grew up in South Florida where you lived in suits, but all these years later and I am always on the lookout for a new one.
Manta, caught my eye awhile back and I am loving every suit design from them. Minimal, good colors, and they seem easy to wear and move in without having to worry about a malfunction.
Not only are the suits amazing but they the brand is taking a stand in the fashion industry by being committed to humanitarian practices from start to finish. Another pretty cool thing is that each suit is made from a fabric in Italy called ECONYL. ECONYL is made of recycled nylon fibers from abandoned fishing nets. The technology that is built into this fabric allows these suits to last season after season.
So whether you need a suit now or are dreaming about that next tropical vacation, make sure to check out Manta before looking anywhere else!
A few of my favorites:
Once again, Very Fine South makes me feel like I need more than one bag in my life. There is something special about each and every one of the designs that makes it so hard to pick which would be the "one." I love the addition of suede and the brighter colors to warm up winter! Lately, I have been leaning toward smaller sizes so I am am really loving the suede cross body pouch.
Bar Jewellery is a minimal line out of London that I am loving right now. The brand aesthetic is about elegance and simplicity that will surpass any trends that are happening. Jewelry that is timeless and can be worn and loved now and later. Each piece is made out of recycled silver and gold plated recycled silver.

I am so incredibly happy that the insanely talented Megan Huntz from Atlanta is Lawn Party's sponsor this month. I have been a big time fan of Megan and her designs for awhile now and this collection did not disappoint. These pieces have so much volume and have a certain perfect sway to them as you move. I have tried a few of these beauties and I can certainly say that I want one of each! I can't wait to share more of Megan Huntz with you this month.
Elise, from one of my all time favorite blogs Pennyweight launched a really amazing concept this morning. Goodwin is a women's retail collection based in Nashville and sold exclusively online. She has partnered with designers and artists who share the same thoughts on simplicity, design, and quality to bring limited quantity of items that are timeless and can be worn or used wherever and whenever. If you follow Elise for a while you know she has an eye for design, detail, and just the sense of beauty in everyday things.
Congrats Elise! Goodwin is perfection!

Cedar & Hyde is now carrying a Fall collection from Pharaoh. Pharaoh is based in Los Angeles and each piece is made there using Japanese and Italian fabrics. This collection makes me think of cool Fall days, the changing of leaves, and spending nights by a fire with endless red wine.
Also, Cedar & Hyde recently launched their online store. Their site is just as beautiful as their brick & mortar and I guarantee you will find something you must have.

Studio 11:11 is a brand new leather goods brand out of Melbourne. These beauties are made my locally based leather talents. These pieces could be considered works of art since they are minimal and timeless. Pieces you could have forever and never get tired of using.
A few favorites:
Need Supply just launched NEED this week, which is their own minimalist collection. Ribbed tees, a cropped boxy top, wide leg trousers, and the most perfect jumpsuit are such everyday pieces that would really work in any closet. I also love the colors used in this collection. Not your typical black, white, and grey used in most minimalist collections. However, these pieces are featured in creme, navy, and an orange that pops but could be used as a neutral.
A few favorites:
The Gravity Collection is absolutely everything I want when wearing a piece of jewelry. These pieces are simple but make the perfect modern statement. Plus, I love that you have your choice of brass or silver in all of these pieces. This is the first time that EVERY pieces is offered in silver. I am a huge fan of silver, especially in the summer. I also love mixing and stacking metals and this collection is perfect for that!

A few of my favorites from this collection:
We are getting closer and closer to summer which means it is time to start thinking about swimsuits for the pool, beach, or whatever body you will be playing in during the hot days. Loving the cuts of the high waisted bottoms and the one pieces as well as the color selection from Nu Swim.
I am so in love with this whole entire Spring collection from Portland based, Howard. The best pieces for the next few months for those warmer days. I am crushing on this lilac color. Such an great neutral.
So much love for this beautiful new Spring collection from Young Frankk. Still a minimalist feel but everything a little bit bigger and a little chunkier. I really think I need the Calder Collar as well as the Tassel Necklace to add to my growing Young Frankk collection.
Steven Alan's Fall collection is a jumpsuit dream for me. I love the proportions of them. A loose fit but still a touch of femininity.
I feel that I am always searching for new things to wear as my first layer. Pretty bras and underwear that still feel like me. Items that aren't fussy or overdone but still items that you would want others to see and just to feel good in while wearing them. Well my friends, Negative Underwear might be just the brand to fill this void. Bras and underwear that are super minimal and easy to wear. Excited for this brand and I am currently wanting to throw away all that I own and wear them from now this day forward.
If you are in Colorado, shop Negative this weekend in Denver and Boulder.
January 28- Goldyn, Denver 5-8
January 29- Pearl Street, Boulder 4-7
January 30- Christina's Lingerie, Boulder 1-4
It is only mid January and REIF has me dreaming of a beach vacation and long summer days spent in swimsuits. I love a high waist bottom and can't imagine wearing any other type of bottom now. I really want one of each color in these. Also, the piece that I am giving all th heart eyes too is the Gama. It reminds me of the monokini's that I wore all of the time growing up. This is definitely the first piece I want to buy for summer. It 100% a must have!

SCALES AND FOLDS is a collaboration from Ladies & Gentlemen Studio and Calico Wallpaper to make this most perfect editorial with Kaarem. Everything about this is so completely beautiful. The combination of the minimalism from Ladies & Gentleman as well as the walls from Callico couldn't mesh more perfectly with the amazing silhouettes from one of my favorite designers right now, Kaarem. Perfection!
SCALES AND FOLDS is modeled by the stunning Caroline Ventura.
Objects Without Meaning just launched a new online store and it has me overcome with excitement. So many great and versatile pieces that can be transitioned into the next season. It is also so great to shop the whole collection in one place and you quickly realize it is all you really want to be wearing at the moment.
Ali and I had a vision to take the white canvas work pant from Colorado based Topo Designs and put a feminine spin on them. These pants are super durable, resilient, and look freaking amazing on a woman.
We wanted a white on white background with a easy going vibe to it. We got exactly what we wanted and the photos Ali took make me so happy to see the whole idea come to life.
I wanted to style this look to be easy. Nothing more, nothing less. I paired the Topo pants with a Rivet & Thread poncho. I love the contrast of fabrics between the wool of the poncho and the rugged canvas of the work pants. Underneath I added a henley from Imogene & Willie that has a sun drenched vintage feel to it that added another dimension to the contrast of the fabrics. I decided to add a touch of color with the Topo ragg capp and this beautiful blanket of a scarf from Madewell.
Such a fun collaboration with Ali and Topo Designs.

Love, love, love this collection from Very Fine South. I have been eyeing this circle clutch for bit and can't stop thinking about it. I love the detail of the handle on the side to be able to slide your hand though. These buttery leather bags made in Atlanta definitely make a wonderful holiday gift.
Dovetail was founded in Boulder, CO in 2005 and now resides in Lexington, KY.
The studio is a collaboration between husband and wife Josh and Margaret Park Smith. Each piece is handmade and unique—Josh develops the graphic patterns and treatments that are applied to the unique silhouettes Margaret has developed, and they share the responsibilities of producing the finished pieces.
Their most recent collection incorporates simple black and white patterns and airbrushed color gradients, with pieces that are the perfect intersection of functional, daily tableware and fine art (and that make the perfect holiday gift!).

Ropemaker just released a brand new website and the most beautiful of lookbooks. Rope-bound bracelets and necklaces that are amazing on their own, but even better stacked like crazy. Pieces that are so fun to give as well as get. They definitely make the perfect holiday gift.
Silvae was launched in 2013 and the collections are inspired by the surroundings of the Pacific Northwest. The clean lines of this Spring collection, as well as the textural fabrics and the light airy layers are what really grabbed my attention. I love how these silhouettes have volume that creates a lot of movement.
Umm, let's just talk about denim heaven for a minute? This minute is brought to you by Caron Callahan's A/W collection. It has somewhat of a 70's vintage feel but with a perfected update. Wraps, vests, and a buttoned up hooded piece that could be worn as a jacket or dress has me wanting it all.
I've been wearing and loving Bridge & Burn since the beginning and couldn't be happier to have them sponsoring Lawn Party for the month of November.
A few of my favorite items from their Fall '15 collection:
Kathleen Whitaker just released a new collection and has a beautiful new website as well. It is too much pretty all at once! I really love the pins in this collection such as the plate pin as well as the plane pin. Both made of 14k yellow gold and are the perfect addition to any coat this winter.
This Fall collection from Reif was completely inspired by the beauty that is Oregon. Last year, Lindsey started to take more time to explore that around her and was amazed by all the different landscapes that made up her state. This lookbook was shot in the Columbia River Gorge and the scenery really captured the ease of these pieces as well as the perfect color pallette for Fall. One of my favorite pieces from this collection is the Malheaur Jumpsuit.
Be sure to also take a peek at the REIFbasik Fall collection. I am definitely eyeing some everyday pieces that I want to lounge in all winter long.
As a lover of hats, I am truly in love with these from Brookes Boswell Millinery. Each hat is hand blocked and handmade in Portland, Oregon, and all hats can be made-to-measure. Each hat starts with an existing design and with a few alterations can be made specifically to fit you perfectly. Out of this collection, the Benning really stands out to me. Not only is it an amazing design but it also comes with a hat pin from another one of my favorites, Tiro Tiro.
Ryan Roche has been so consistent since the very beginning and it really says a lot about the brand. This designer has mastered the use of cashmere knits that has me wanting to be wrapped up in them every season. I always love how her pieces are forward thinking but are also very wearable. Pieces that could totally be worn on a lazy day at home, to work, or on vacation. Such beauty in the way these pieces are crafted. This collection does not disappoint and it already has me excited for what else Ryan Roche has in store in her collections to follow.
It is only September and First Rite has me dreaming of Spring. It will be so nice to be able to shed the layers after cold months. This collection definitely will be a huge inspiration for my Spring wardrobe. Drapey silhouettes, crop tops, and wide legs are at the top of my list.
Elizabeth Suzann sure knows how to change my summer heart into being ok with it turning Fall then Winter. The F/W 2015 collection that is produced in their studio in Nashville has everything I could possibly want. Silhouettes that have structure as well as being the perfect amount of oversized. The high necklines are a nice change and there is so much versatility within these pieces. One of my favorites from this collection is the Elise dress. The layering possibilities are endless with this mid-length fitted black dress.
I keep coming back to this beautifully shot lookbook for Crescioni. I really haven't been able to get it out of my head. The images are so striking and really capture this collection and what this designer is about in such a raw form. I have been such a huge fan of the statement leather pieces but also am really loving the mix of leather and brass.
With each new season, Hackwith Design continues to impress me with the collection they release. Not only are the silhouettes really thought out, but they are also made of the most amazing fabrics. Fabrics that feel amazing on but also allow and create movement. Hackwith Design sources their fabrics from a family-owned fabric store based in Minneapolis in order to support their local community as well as cut down on waste.
